The deadline for applications for the compensation scheme to cover expenses in connection with travel quarantine was 31 October 2021. It is therefore no longer possible to apply for compensation.
Here, you can calculate the grant that the enterprise is eligible to receive.
Grants are calculated according to the number of workers or contractors who have been in mandatory entry quarantine. Grants of up to NOK 1,000 per day per worker or contractor in entry quarantine may be awarded. Travel quarantine spent in a quarantine hotel following the public quarantine hotel scheme is not covered by this scheme.
- the grant may not exceed the added costs incurred by the enterprise during the grant period.
- the grant will be reduced against the enterprise’s added costs if the added costs are less than the daily rate
- the grant will be reduced for compensation received for the added costs
- a grant will not be given for more than 20 quarantine days per worker or client per grant period
If the enterprise is eligible for a grant, 80% of the costs for verification of the application will be refunded, subject to a maximum of NOK 15,000 for each grant period. The cost of verification is entered in the application.
Example – calculation of grant amount
To calculate the grant amount for a grant period, you must know:
- added costs for the period
- number of workers and/or contractors where the applicant was responsible for implementation of quarantine during the period
- number of quarantine days during the period
- compensation received for added costs
